New Zealand Turbine Services

Services we provide include the following:

1.Evaluation of trend monitoring data.

When a decision needs to be made about removing an engine off wing all the latest trend monitoring data can be sent to us for evalutaion and a recommendation can be made based on our experience and the data provided as to whether or not the engine needs to be removed or not all.We also insure that any trouble shooting tasks have not been overlooked or missed.

2.Engine workscoping

Once the decision has been made to remove the engine for repair or overhaul we will create a workscope based on the customers needs and the most cost effctive way of carrying out the workscope. The workscope will be presented to the customer for acceptance and the go ahead for us to find an engine facility to carry out the work.

3.Finding a lease engine

If the customer requires a lease engine for the time that the engine is in for a repair or overhaul we can arrange through our many contacts a lease engine which will help to ease the stressful process of trying to keep the aircraft flying and on schedule.

4.Finding an engine shop

Once the workscope has been accepted by the customer we then proceed to find the best estimate price from many engine overhaul facilities around the world. New Zealand Turbine Services are not affiliated to any engine shops or companies which allows us to get the most cost effective deal for our customer. New Zealand Turbine Services will create a comparison list of all cost estimates and present the comparison document to the customer so that an informed decision can be made. We will make a recommendation and explain why we made that particular recommendation which will aid in the customers final decision.

5.Tracking the engine through the shop visit

When the decision has been made as to what engine facility the engine will go to we then follow the engine from the day it arrives at the facility to the day it leaves. We will monitor certain KPI's that normally can contribute to the engine running over the cost estimate. The main KPI's tracked are labour, LLP replacement costs, scraped parts and turnaround time. The customer will receive a report on a weekly basis from New Zealand Turbine Services updating the status of the engine. During this period a representitive from New Zeland Turbine Services will visit the shop atleast once to view all scrap and ensure all workscope requirements are being met on the customers behalf.

6.Full Reporting at all times

When the engine has been completed the customer will receive a full report from the engine shop on the shop visit and we will write a full report on the engine shop visit to ensure that quality standards are being met at all times and that our customers are happy with the service provided.

7.Sourcing Spare Parts

At New Zealand Turbine Services we can find and source new and part life parts or components at the customers request. We work closely with the engine facilities and suppliers and know what spare parts and components are available to the market at all times.
